Championing a Cleaner Douala with Massive World Clean-Up Day Campaign
Douala, Cameroon – In honour of World Clean-Up Day, Olam Agri, through its flagship rice brand Riz Bijou, partnered once again with Carrefour Market to lead a large-scale clean-up campaign across Douala’s key districts — Douala 1er, 3ème, 4ème, and 5ème.

This year’s initiative was significantly larger than previous editions, mobilising hundreds of volunteers, including a remarkable number of Olam Agri employees, to tackle plastic waste and raise awareness about environmental protection. The campaign aimed to inspire behavioural change around waste management and promote a cleaner, greener Douala.
