We have grown world-class wheat milling capabilities to become the number one wheat miller in West Africa.
With a strong regional footprint across Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana, and Cameroon, we produce high-quality flour to meet the growing demand for wheat-based products, popular amongst African consumers.
Our expertise, efficient flour milling operations and consumer insights allow us to foster long term, relationships with customers. With an unrelenting focus on food safety, innovation, and cost efficiencies, we produce a range of quality flours for breads, baguettes, pasta, biscuits, semolina, and confectionery.
Our product development team works closely with bakeries to develop and test products, to tailor-make products to meet customers’ specific requirements. We’re committed to the highest food quality and safety standards for our range of products that include leading brands Mama Gold flour, Crown Premium pasta and Supreme Semolina.
In Nigeria, where 60% of people live below the poverty line, we’re pioneering a state-of-the-art facility to fortify wheat flour with essential vitamins. The first of its kind in Nigeria, we’re collaborating with non-profit organisation TechnoServe to develop more nutritious vitamin-fortified wheat flour and products to help Nigerians live a healthier and more productive life.
As part of our strategy to expand our wheat milling footprint in key markets across Africa and the Middle East, we’ve expanded our operational footprint, as part of a consortium which owns a flour mill company in Saudi Arabia. We have a 10% minority stake, and responsibility for managing plants and operations in three locations – Riyadh, Hail and Jazan – with combined wheat milling capacity of 1.3 million metric tonnes and feed milling capacity of 180,000 metric tonnes.
