Olam Agri integrates Continental Farmers Group from SALIC

Olam Agri has entered into agreement to fully integrate Continental Farmers Group (CFG), a leading Ukrainian agricultural company, which is an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC).

Continental Farmers Group is the first addition to Olam Agri’s business portfolio since SALIC completed the purchase of a majority shareholding in Olam Agri in April 2026, and the company commenced a new chapter of growth separate from the Olam Group. The completion of the integration will increase SALIC’s majority ownership in Olam Agri to 81.81% from 80.01%.

This integration will not affect the day-to-day operations of Continental Farmers Group, which will continue to operate as an independent business as part of Olam Agri, retaining its existing management team, and pursuing its clearly laid out growth strategy while leveraging Olam Agri’s strength in trading and risk management. In addition, Mr. Georg von Nolcken, Continental’s Chief Executive Officer will join Olam Agri’s Executive Committee.

Sunny Verghese,
The addition of CFG immediately strengthens our capabilities in Ukraine and our access to Central and Eastern Europe, aligned with our strategy to expand our origination footprint in key grain-exporting markets. It strengthens our sourcing capabilities by anchoring origination through owned production and inland logistics assets, as well as strengthening our farming capabilities and diversifying our portfolio beyond our current trading and processing-led model. This integration is clear evidence of the synergies and collaboration opportunities with SALIC. We continue to work closely to further identify and explore other opportunities in line with our business strategy and our shared focus on food security.

Continental’s integration into Olam Agri’s global structure creates new opportunities for business growth and collaboration across the Group. We see this step as an additional catalyst to strengthen our position and support the implementation of our long-term strategic plans. At the same time, Continental retains our existing management team, operational autonomy, and will continue to architect our growth strategy. For our employees, landowners, customers, business partners, and local communities, we remain the same Continental – a reliable partner that consistently delivers on its commitments and continues to invest in the future.
