<span class="txt-orange">Launch of ‘Raising Generations Initiative’</span> to Drive Economic Growth in Ghana
<span class="p1"><b><br> Accra, Ghana - </b>Olam Agri, a leading food, feed, and fibre agri-business, has officially launched the <i>Raising Generations Initiative</i>, a flagship sustainability programme designed to empower communities and drive economic growth across key sectors. The initiative’s inaugural projects include a<i> </i>baking school in partnership with the Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Service and a scholarship scheme for dependents of bakers. The launch event took place at Olam Agri’s grains facility in Kpone.</span>
<span class="p1">The baking school will provide training that combines theory with hands-on experience. The training curriculum places heavy emphasis on the science of baking, and participants will be exposed to new approaches and advancements that are shaping the future of the industry. The programme aims to equip trainees with the skills necessary to create tasty products, while fostering creativity and promoting continuous improvement.</span>

Olam Agri is extending its investment beyond the bakery by offering two dependents of bakers a full scholarship to a tertiary institution of their choice. The scheme aims to target about 108 scholarships in the first year.
