Strengthening Our Sustainable Rubber Commitment Through GPSNR Assurance System
At Olam Agri, we are committed to sustainable and responsible natural rubber, sourcing from deforestation-free areas and contributing to protecting ecosystems and High Conservation Values (HCV). Guided by our Responsible Natural Rubber Policy and aligned with the principles of the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR), we strive to ensure that our operations protect forests, promote human and labour rights, and deliver long-term benefits for people and the planet.
We are proud to further this commitment by endorsing the GPSNR Assurance System, a landmark sustainability framework designed to bring greater transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness to the rubber sector.
The GPSNR Assurance System, officially adopted in 2024 and approved by the GPSNR General Assembly in July 2025, empowers rubber stakeholders to systematically implement, monitor, and verify their sustainability commitments across their operations. Olam Agri has actively contributed to the development of this system, underscoring its role as a drive of positive change across the rubber supply chain.
Enabling Traceability and Trust
By adopting the GPSNR Assurance System, we are reinforcing our commitment to transparency and accountability, promoting due diligence system and risk assessment approach across all the GPSNR members. We promote rubber being produced in conformity with the GPSNR principles, working with suppliers to meet compliance through time-bound action plans.
Driving Inclusive, Lasting Impact
We believe that sustainable transformation can only be achieved through multi-stakeholder collaboration and fair representation. That is why we engage with local stakeholders and rubber supply chain actors, maintain grievance mechanisms consistent with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and participate in multi-stakeholder initiatives to advance sector-wide transformation.
