Australia
Australia is known for its climate, R&D capability, technology savvy producers and modern infrastructure.
We have over 15 years of experience in Australia and operate an integrated supply chain for cotton and pulses. We have over 100 permanent, talented employees across the country and over twice as many seasonal members in our teams. Our head office is in Brisbane, Queensland, and we’ve regional offices elsewhere in the state, New South Wales, and Victoria.
Health & Safety
We take our responsibility to make sure our workplaces are healthy and safe for all our employees, contractors, and visitors very seriously. Our goal is to embed a “zero harm culture”. We work towards this by eliminating risks, which cause injuries or illnesses through training, procedures, and assessments. View our policies, statements, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) licenses for our cotton gins based in New South Wales.
Pulses in Australia
Our chickpeas and mung beans area sourced from a wide geographical area, from the Central Queensland Highlands as far south as Warren, and west to Walgett in New South Wales. Our main export markets are India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. We have 10,000 MT of upright storage at Mount Tyson that is well located in the production zone of grains, cereals and pulses for the Darling Downs and Northern New South Wales and packs product for shipment all year round.
In Victoria and South Australia, we are trading Pulse commodities through third party handlers and selling into domestic and international consumers of lentils and field peas. This business provides a geographical hedge to our Northern portfolio and allows scope for growth in the Southern markets in Australia.
Cotton in Australia
Our Australian cotton business trades as Queensland Cotton, a trusted brand dating back to 1921.
We’re a leading cotton lint trading and supply chain company in Australia. We procure, pack and export raw cotton from all Australian growing regions to global markets.
Our seven state-of-the-art ginning facilities located in Queensland and New South Wales provide custom ginning services to local growers and a procurement platform for cottonseed. Our cottonseed trading business delivers seed to domestic animal feed and international oilseed crushing markets.
Through our global cotton market intelligence, we help cotton growers price their cotton with confidence.
